  • The thing that is interesting about this letter is that it is emotive. It Is also very descriptive about the event he is writing about. In this letter, the writer mentions how he is very anxious because his brother is wounded very badly. He also mentions that it took 4 hours of struggling to reach to a place of safety with him. We are also told that the doctor in the situation and told them that it will take a while for them to be completely safe and for his brother to go to England. During 1916, there was the Battle OF Verdun, the Battle of the Somme, and the Battle of Passchendaele casualties. This article tells us that life during WW1 was harsh and traumatizing, also that life was tough for the soldiers and there were many tragic moments and deaths during WW1. This all has resulted in an impact on history and life today.
